Short Description / Purpose of Job
Executing the day-to-day activities within the Bank and Cash environment with necessary accuracy and within set deadlines. Ensure adequate governance and internal controls are exercised, adhering to IFRS.
Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
Preparation and management of daily cash flow, ensuring timely submission. Daily execution of tasks within cashier function for on-time payments and urgent requests. Download/post statements into SAP daily. Compare and report daily cash balances, providing explanations for deviations. Process transactions to the General Ledger. Review and reconcile bank statements weekly and monthly. Follow up on reconciliation items and open items/unallocated deposits. Review and follow up on bank charges, ensuring adherence to Governance standards. Adherence to published procedures and accounting standards. Prepare GL reconciliations, year-end disclosures, and timely filing of documents. Log IFM calls for bank rejections within set time frames. Petty cash management, capturing BICOS claims accurately and attaching supporting documentation onto SAP. Prepare Journals and attach appropriate supporting documents.
