Support the Branch Manager in monitoring sales, expenses, and budgets. Take ownership of stock management: ordering, merchandising, stock control, cash-up of cashier and stock takesManagement over the animal feed storeGeneral administrationFuel management/control responsibilitiesStaff training and developmentDeliver excellent customer service, resolving queries and maintaining strong relationshipsEnsure compliance with safety and legislative requirementsDrive marketing initiatives and promotions to grow branch performanceAd-hoc tasksWhat We’re Looking ForMatric / NQF4A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous2-3 years’ experience in agricultural retailExperience in irrigation systems, including pump sizing and selection, as well as garden and irrigation layout design. Experience in the hardware and construction industry, including paint mixing, customer service, and preparing quotations from building and construction plans. Experience in animal health products and veterinary medicine, with knowledge of AFCASA and similar products, including active ingredients, product applications, and usage recommendations. Code 08 drivers' licence requiredProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Willingness to learn, grow, and occasionally work after hoursA natural people-person who thrives under pressure
