JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION OVERVIEW Provide safe and professional transportation services for Clinix Health Group (Pty) Ltd, including Clinix hospital staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION Grade 12 as minimum educational qualification
LICENSES AND PERMITS Code 10 Driver’s License required Valid PDP Permit mandatory
EXPERIENCE Prior experience in driving is preferred
KEY COMPETENCIES - Proficient driving skills - Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations - Excellent customer service skills - Understanding of hospital operations - Strong oral communication abilities
DELIVERABLES
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections on assigned vehicles and confirm compliance with National Road and Traffic Act regulations - Report any maintenance needs to the Fleet Administrator and/or Group Fleet Manager - Prioritize job requests for optimized time and fuel efficiency - Maintain and complete daily log and inspection sheets - Transport patients and customers safely and efficiently - Deliver resources and employees as necessary - Refill fuel, diesel, oil, and coolant following Group Fleet Management procedures and update the Fuel Card Register accordingly - Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and avoid any violations - Park vehicles in secure Company facilities and ensure the vehicle is locked - Follow Group’s security standards for vehicle parking outside CHG facilities - Store keys in a predetermined secure storage area - Complete all required general administrative tasks - Ensure vehicles are filled up before the start of weekends or public holidays - Notify the Fleet and EMS Manager of any vehicle accidents - Report accidents to the SAPS within 24 hours, obtaining a case number - Complete an accident/incident report on the day of the accident - Keep an updated list of emergency contact numbers visible in the vehicle for emergencies
