We are currently seeking a dedicated Laboratory Manager for a prominent role within the FMCG food processing sector, based in the Western Cape.
In this pivotal position, you will be entrusted with managing and conducting operations in both analytical and microbiological laboratories. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all product testing stages, ranging from raw materials to finished goods, and directing a team of skilled technicians.
To qualify for this opportunity, candidates should possess a minimum National Diploma or Degree in Biochemistry, Food Science, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in an FMCG food manufacturing laboratory is required, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. An in-depth understanding of food safety systems such as HACCP, ISO 22000, or BRCGS is also essential.
