Salary R 949 146 .00 - R 1 561 734.00 per annum
RequirementsMatric, MBCHB or equivalent Degree with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner. Current registration with HPCSA. Grade 1: Experience: None after registration as Medical Practitioner with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in respect of South African qualified employees. One - year relevant experience after registration as Medical Practitioner with recognised foreign health professional council in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform community service as required in South Africa. Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years after registration as Medical Practitioner with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in respect of South African qualified employees. Minimum of 6 years' relevant experience after registration as Medical Practitioner with recognised foreign health professional council in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform community service as required in South Africa. Grade 3: Minimum of 10 years after registration as Medical Practitioner with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in respect of South African qualified employees. DutiesManagement all medical conditions to ensure that a competent service is provided to all patients Supervise junior staff in order to provide adequate medical care and to train them to be able to do key medical interventions. Consult patients on an outpatient basis to have optimal chronic disease management and good long term follow up. Briefing, informing and counselling patients and where appropriate relatives regarding prevention, treatment operative, complications and rehabilitation. Endeavour to become skilled in resuscitative measures and intensive care treatment to assure survival of critically ill-patients.
