Presentations to staff and parents on preventing the spread of infectious diseases On-site assessment of a sick or injured childās needs Relaying necessary information to primary healthcare provider or emergency room as well as to parents Tracking each childās medical records while they are enrolled Maintaining records of each childās physical development Providing training to the centreās staff on situations such as sanitary nappy changing and proper handwashing procedures Monitoring the facilities for health issues and cleanliness Keeping the centreās staff and parents informed about healthcare with emphasis on preventative care
Qualifications, experience and skills
An appropriate academic and professional qualification from a recognised tertiary institution Minimum two yearsā experience in a similar position A passion for children Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills An energetic positive approach to their vocation Patience and compassion to work with sick or injured children The skills to deal with children, parents and staff Ability to remain calm in any situation yet solve problems quickly in an emergency Computer skills A clear criminal record
