Standard 10 certificate/Grade 12. Clerical/administrative: 3-5 years in Patient Admin Degree / National Diploma in Public Management / Administration / Financial Management Plus three (3) years’ experiences in Patient Administration and A valid code EB driver’s licence
Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, and Competencies Required:
Knowledge of E-Health patient Registration and other patient admin computer programmes Knowledge of discipline and grievance procedures Knowledge of legislation policies and procedures pertaining to revenue and patient administration Computer literacy Supervisory / Managing abilities Finance and accounting skills.
Supervise the Patient Administration section (Medical records, Archival, Mortuary, Casualty, Admission, Discharge, Appointments, Emergency bookings). Train, develop and monitor staff including conflict management and discipline Maintain effective and efficient utilization of resources. Conduct internal audit and risk management and maintain compliance. Ensure efficient work processes and reduce waiting time in the patient admin area. Compile and submit monthly reports on survey (waiting time, head count registers and archival of files. Ensure efficient records management and conduct regular records audits. Implement and monitor Performance Management within the Patient Admin sections. Implement quality improvement programmes by monitoring and evaluation. Ensure effective and efficient cash management of all state monies is collected.
