Job Type: 2 year contract, full time.

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our accounting team in a small practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

• Maintain and manage financial records, including general ledger entries to trial balance. - Conduct basic / preliminary financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Collaborate with team to provide financial insights and support
• Participate in external audit preparation as needed
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned - Adhoc statutory submissions and or applications - Prepare financial statements and reports Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree / diploma in accounting or tax
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounting and tax
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, strength in time management and good team player
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills
