We are looking for a qualified and experienced Enrolled Nurse to join a healthcare and laboratory environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate patient and specimen collection while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, quality and compliance. Key ResponsibilitiesConfirm patient identity and verify test requests. Explain specimen collection procedures to patients. Perform venepuncture and collect specimens accurately. Ensure the correct specimen tubes are used. Correctly label and handle specimens. Maintain specimen integrity and minimise specimen rejection. Ensure timely transportation of specimens. Identify and report unsuitable specimens. Follow infection control and PPE requirements. Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate collection records. Monitor consumables and report stock shortages. Maintain equipment and participate in quality assurance processes. Provide professional and patient-focused service. RequirementsSANC registration as an Enrolled Nurse. Recognised Phlebotomy qualification/training. Minimum 2 years' relevant phlebotomy experience. Competent in venepuncture. Relevant registration/accreditation. Strong patient service and communication skills. PHC or laboratory experience is highly preferred.
