Essential:Grade 12 / Matric Minimum of 6 months’ sales experience in a Vitamins / Health environmentStrong command of the English languageComputer literate – MS OfficeSound numerical skillsWilling and able to work retail hours Advantageous:Qualification in BSc Biomedicine and/or BSc Biotechnology, or relevant qualification within the health focus fieldSales experience in a retail environmentExperience in the health industry (vitamins, supplements or health foods)Fluent in a 2nd language prominently spoken in the area Job description:Assist and advise customers, and ensure the highest levels of customer care and service are metAssist with back shopping when requested to do so, to ensure the effective operation of the department and storeKeep merchandise displays in the health focus area stocked and faced upReport all price discrepancies to management as they appearAdhere to store layouts within the Health DepartmentEnsure broadsheet items are well displayed, merchandised, promoted and availableImplement promotional displays and merchandising materialAchieve monthly team, brand and vendor targetsKeep abreast with new products and product linesFollow the Health Department’s administrative processes and procedures, including, but not limited to, weekly returns, stock control and monitoring of stock levels
