Grade 12. N6/T3/S4 Diploma or equivalent in Engineering will be advantageous. Trade Test as an Electrician, Millwright or Fitter will be advantageous. Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning. Minimum 3 years’ experience within a high-speed manufacturing environment. MS Project is essential. Proficiency in MS Office 365. Working knowledge of CMMS systems. Knowledge of SHEQ. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail.
Plan and schedule engineering maintenance activities across daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and shutdown programmes. Coordinate planned and ad hoc maintenance activities with the Engineering team. Assist with preparing and updating weekly maintenance plans and schedules. Schedule and allocate preventative maintenance tasks to resources through the CMMS. Maintain and update preventative maintenance master data. Follow up on completed projects and analyse maintenance feedback. Update equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs) and add new components to the system. Maintain and update the Critical Spares List. Create purchase requisitions for Electrical, Services, Process, Safety, Mechanical, Stores, and Projects requirements. Coordinate consumable orders and ensure the required approvals are obtained. Monitor and report on weekly maintenance execution, schedule compliance, breakdowns, and artisan productivity. Analyse maintenance history and report findings to management. Review job cards and verify the integrity and accuracy of maintenance data captured by artisans. Assist with analysing maintenance shutdown costs. Work closely with Engineering Stores to ensure spares are available for planned maintenance. Support Engineering team safety requirements, including LOTO, PTW, and SOPs. Perform general maintenance-related administration as required. Compile maintenance reports using collected and analysed data in the prescribed formats.
