As a Driver for the Supercare Chemical Storeroom, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of cleaning chemical, products and materials. This position focuses on logistical operations within a specialized environment, where you will be responsible for adhering to safety standards while maintaining timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities- Operate company vehicles to transport chemicals and materials to and from the storeroom and designated sites.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations regarding the transport and handling of hazardous materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to confirm safety and operational standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities transported, and prepare reports as necessary.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to load and unload chemical products safely and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to delivery requests and schedule changes while managing time effectively.
- Provide support in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the storeroom and vehicles.
- Assist in training and guiding new staff on safety and operational procedures related to chemical transport.
Requirements- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrable experience in the transportation or logistics industry, preferably involving hazardous materials.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures relevant to chemical handling and transport.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
