Description    

Hello Group is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and target-driven Loans Consultant to join our Loans team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inbound and outbound telephone sales, WhatsApp engagement, lead conversion and generating new loan business. The role requires a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers while ensuring that all sales are conducted responsibly and in line with company policies and processes. You will play a key role in achieving revenue targets by converting leads into successful loan sales and providing customers with appropriate loan and repayment solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities    

Proactively contact inbound and outbound leads to generate sales opportunities. Convert leads into successful loan sales. Identify new business opportunities and cultivate your own leads. Engage with customers via telephone and WhatsApp. Provide accurate product information and appropriate advice to customers. Assess customer needs and affordability using available internal cash-flow and transaction information. Recommend appropriate loan amounts and repayment solutions. Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets. Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Ensure all sales are conducted responsibly and in accordance with company policies and processes. Maintain accurate customer documentation and records. Prepare regular sales and communication reports for management. Contribute towards overall team and revenue targets.

Performance will be measured against key targets, including:

Number of outbound calls/emails made. Lead conversion rate. Revenue generated from internal sales. Achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

Minimum Requirements    

Minimum 2 years' proven experience in a sales or telesales environment. Matric or relevant qualification/experience. Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Strong telephone sales and customer engagement experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation and closing abilities. Customer-focused with a proactive and positive attitude. Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Resilient and able to perform effectively in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
