A well-established manufacturing organization seeking to strengthen its maintenance team is looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Supervisor. It is a fast-paced manufacturing environment comprising mechanical, CNC-controlled and automated manufacturing equipment, with associated electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime Responsible for the whole factory; maintenance, breakdowns, fabrication and general site facilities Maintenance planning and documentation in accordance with ISO9001 & IATF16949. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical faults efficiently Manage maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety standards Appointed as GMR 2.1, with the associated legal responsibility for the safe operation and maintenance of the relevant machinery and equipment.
Qualified Fitter & Turner or Millwright with a completed trade test Minimum of 10 years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance Strong leadership and team management skills Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical system Strong practical electrical experience required, even if not formally electrically qualified Experience of CNC-controlled and automated manufacturing equipment, with associated electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems PLCs and automation systems Preventive and predictive maintenance practices
