Omnia Agriculture is looking for a Plant Operator to support the safe production, loading, and offloading of fertiliser products and raw materials. The role requires a hands-on individual with chemical production experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to perform administrative and computer-related tasks.
Ensure full compliance with SHEQ, safety, environmental and site security requirements. Operate plant equipment to produce and load liquid fertiliser. Offload raw materials and safely handle N-Gas. Perform in-process quality checks and follow testing procedures. Operate and monitor production-related computer systems. Complete production and quality documentation accurately. Maintain housekeeping standards within the plant. Assist with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance activities. Participate in off-season maintenance projects.
Matric with Mathematics and Science NQF 4 or Chemical Operations qualification (advantageous)
2β3 years' experience in a chemical production environment Computer literacy
