AFGRI Animal Feeds is looking for a qualified and experienced SHEQ Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (OHSE) systems to ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies.
Diploma in Health and Safety, Quality, or equivalent. SAMTRAC qualification or equivalent. ISO Integrated Management certification (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001). Minimum of 2 yearsβ experience in a Health, Safety, and Quality environment, preferably within a manufacturing plant.
Implement and manage integrated OHSE and Quality systems. Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations. Provide training and guidance to employees on safety and quality matters. Ensure compliance with OHS Act, NEMA Act, NBR, and RSR. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and external audits. Ensure food safety compliance as part of the HACCP team.
