Job Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable Trust Bank & Credit Control Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a range of trust banking, reconciliation, investment banking, disbursement and credit control functions. The role would suit someone who is accurate, organised, dependable and positive, with good banking and financial administration experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesTrust bank receipting Daily and month-end trust bank reconciliations Investment banking, including: Opening and closing investments Processing guarantees Preparing month-end journals Online banking across Investec, ABSA, FNB 3PIM and Standard Bank Disbursement capturing and preparation of schedules Book debt and credit control Maintaining accurate financial and banking records General financial administration and ad hoc duties as required Ensuring deadlines are consistently met
Systems
The successful candidate will work withAJS Investec ABSA FNB 3PIM Standard Bank Various online banking platforms Previous experience with these systems would be advantageous.
RequirementsMatric + relevant financial qualification Previous experience in a similar trust banking, accounting, financial administration or credit control position Strong experience with bank reconciliations Good understanding of banking and investment processes Experience with online banking platforms Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines Computer literate with good Excel skills Positive attitude and willingness to assist where required Must be willing to work after hours from home when necessary to meet deadlines
