A distinguished family based on a Wine Farm in the Cape Winelands is in search of a skilled, trustworthy, and seasoned Butler / Household Assistant to oversee the seamless and professional management of their home. This hands-on role is ideal for an individual who is organised, mature, proactive, discreet, and service-oriented, with the capability to adeptly manage diverse household, family, and logistical duties. The chosen candidate will become an essential part of the household, capable of working independently, anticipating the family's needs, and maintaining a consistently high standard of service.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in private households, luxury hospitality, butler, estate, lodge, hotel, or family assistant settings. - Valid South African driver’s licence. - Clean driving record. - Strong and confident driving ability. - Previous experience transporting children is advantageous. - Good cooking and meal-preparation skills. - Excellent organisational and household management skills. - Contactable references. - Clear criminal and background checks, subject to the employer’s requirements

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Butler and general household support - Driving children to and from school and sporting activities - Running household errands and grocery shopping - Preparing fresh, healthy, and enjoyable family meals - Assisting with the daily organisation of the household - Helping ensure the smooth and efficient running of the home - Assisting the family with ad-hoc household and logistical requirements - Maintaining a professional, discreet, and respectful approach at all times
