E&D Recruiters is currently seeking a Chief RF/Antenna Engineer to head technical initiatives within the RF Engineering domain. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, with a focus on Antenna Theory or RF Electronics/Firmware. The role requires over 10 years of substantial leadership experience and demonstrated expertise in structural mechanics, as well as a comprehensive understanding of defence and aerospace standards (MIL-STD, STANAG, IEC, ISO).
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, specializing in Antenna Theory or RF Electronics/Firmware - More than 10 years of relevant engineering experience with proven technical leadership - Recognized expertise in specific disciplines such as electromagnetic simulation, structural mechanics, embedded systems, or firmware - Strong familiarity with defence and aerospace standards (MIL-STD, STANAG, IEC, ISO) - Proficiency in MS Office - Beneficial experience with MATLAB, Python, FEKO, HFSS, CST, or similar simulation and analysis tools
Responsibilities
- Serve as the design authority for the RF/Antenna engineering discipline, leading complex system designs and ensuring technical excellence - Oversee and review design activities to ensure compliance, manufacturability, and performance integrity - Provide technical mentorship and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation - Support opportunity evaluation, feasibility studies, and bid development - Collaborate with other Chief Engineers and executive leadership to align technical strategy with company objectives - Drive research, process improvement, and intellectual property generation
