E&D Recruiters is currently looking for a Mechanical Draughtsman in Pretoria-East.
Key Requirements: - Minimum of 2 to 6 years of drafting experience within the automotive sector. - Professional drafting qualifications are essential. - Previous experience in a military vehicle environment is highly advantageous. - Proficiency in Onshape and SolidWorks or a relevant CAD package is preferred. - Familiarity with SolidWorks PDM or a comparable PDM system. - Microsoft Office skills are required.
Responsibilities: - Execute design tasks as directed by the Chief Designer or Senior Design Engineer. - Develop solid models of components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies in accordance with business file structure guidelines and number protocol. - Create detailed layout and manufacturing drawings for components and assemblies. - Assist during the building and testing of prototypes. - Provide production support, including capturing red-line drawings during the building and prototype phase.
