An international group of premium pet nutrition, raw feeding and natural pet wellness brands is building a Cape Town ecommerce and commercial team supporting multiple B2C brands and online stores across international markets. The Digital Manager will own the trade website, SEO, CRO, landing pages and website change management across the portfolio, working closely with internal developers and external specialists. Minimum RequirementsDegree in Marketing, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of digital marketing, SEO, CRO and website management experience. Previous experience working with EU and/or US B2C ecommerce markets is essential. Expert knowledge of SEO, technical SEO and keyword strategy. Strong experience with CRO testing and optimisation. Proficiency with Semrush, Google Analytics 4 and testing tools. Basic HTML/CSS knowledge or the ability to learn, with experience coordinating developers. Demonstrable experience using AI tools in digital marketing. Must be a genuine pet lover – if animals are your thing, you’ll fit right in! FMCG, pet products, food, health, beauty, retail or ecommerce experience is advantageous.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesOwn the trade website trading calendar, B2B acquisition activity and website performance. Develop and execute SEO strategy across all websites, including technical audits, keyword strategy and content optimisation. Lead CRO initiatives and prioritise testing according to commercial impact. Build and optimise landing pages across the website portfolio. Own website change requests, triage priorities and manage delivery against agreed service levels. Coordinate internal and external developers and specialist resources. Monitor Core Web Vitals, crawlability, technical site health, rankings and traffic. Manage and develop the Junior Digital Executive and use AI tools to support SEO, analysis and optimisation.
