Job Purpose

Check all merchandise and documentation for Inbound and Outbound departments for quality, competencies and accuracy

Education and Experience

Grade 12, with one year warehousing experience

Required Job Competencies

Execute checks on documentation, quality and completeness of all merchandise received or despatched Execute Service Centre inventory control and safekeeping practices Execute activities to comply with relevant safety policies and procedures Deal with internal and external customers in a customer centric manner Effective self-management and teamwork Ability to multi-skill across departments where and when required

Key Responsibilities

Product and service knowledge Service Centre documentation Warehouse safety responsible care Warehouse knowledge and experience In depth knowledge of JG Group policies, practices, processes and systems Understanding of the JD Group operating model Express and implied ethical responsibilities Warehouse stock controls Numeracy and literacy skills Communication Emotional Maturity Personal Resilience Effective self-management and teamwork Integrity and Values Customer orientation Engaging diversity Attention to detail Sense of urgency
