Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all finance and insurance activities in both new and pre-owned vehicle sales. - Sell finance, insurance, and additional value-added products directly to customers. - Process finance applications and coordinate with financial institutions for approval. - Collaborate with VAPS products to enhance income opportunities and improve departmental profitability. - Ensure all finance and insurance documentation adheres to legal and compliance standards. - Build and sustain robust relationships with customers, banks, finance providers, and insurance partners. - Ensure customers are well-informed about finance agreements, insurance products, and associated terms. - Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, contributing to the achievement of profitability targets. - Work in tandem with the Sales Department to ensure a seamless and professional vehicle handover process. - Offer guidance and direction to the F&I Assistant as needed. - Uphold high standards in customer service, ethical selling, and administrative precision.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12. - Demonstrated experience as an F&I Business Manager in a motor dealership setting. - Relevant F&I qualifications and regulatory accreditations. - RE5 certification - NCA accreditation - Completion of Business (COB) training - Up-to-date CPD hours - Compliance with all relevant FAIS regulatory requirements and Fit and proper criteria - Extensive knowledge of vehicle finance, insurance products, VAPS, and dealership compliance procedures. - Experience managing finance transactions for both new and pre-owned vehicles. - Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills. - Commercial acumen and the ability to maximize departmental profitability. - Exceptional communication, organizational, and administrative abilities. - A valid, unendorsed driver’s license.
