Our client, a premier international manufacturer, is looking for a Financial Cost Controller to join their dynamic and growing financial team. We are seeking a candidate who possesses a strong background in financial reporting, analysis, system development, budget management, internal control enhancement, costing, and forecasting.
Additionally, we require a professional from the manufacturing industry with experience in managing budgets exceeding R billion.
KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION
- A tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting, along with over five years of experience in a similar role within engineering or manufacturing. - Ability to work independently, manage and analyze financial data accurately, and support business performance through effective budgeting, cost control, financial governance, and reporting. - Responsibility for financial strategy and governance, budgeting, performance monitoring, financial analysis and reporting, business partnering with operational teams, financial risk management, and ensuring alignment between management reporting and accounting records. - Strong knowledge and expertise in inventory controls and pricing. - Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, budget management, cost control, and proficiency in financial and business systems. - Must possess a valid driverās license, own a car, and have a clear criminal and credit record.
