Driven Fire Engineer looking to advance your career within a respected consulting environment?   An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Fire Engineer to join our client's growing engineering team. You will play a key role in delivering compliant and effective fire engineering solutions for a variety of commercial and multidisciplinary developments, while working alongside experienced professionals on complex projects.   Key Responsibilities ·        Produce fire engineering designs and fire compliance solutions for building services projects. ·        Design and coordinate fire sprinkler systems, firefighting installations, smoke extraction systems, and stair pressurisation systems. ·        Manage projects according to experience level while maintaining quality and programme objectives. ·        Participate in client consultations, site meetings, and engineering surveys. ·        Prepare tender documentation and support project management activities. ·        Maintain compliance with SANS standards and industry best practices.   Requirements   ·        BTech or BEng in Mechanical Engineering.   ·        Minimum 5 years' experience in Fire Engineering within the building services industry.   ·        Demonstrated knowledge of South African fire safety standards and fire protection system design.   ·        Thermal modelling experience will be considered an advantage.   ·        Strong written communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.   ·        Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.   ·        ECSA registration or eligibility and willingness to obtain professional registration   Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
