SA Litho, a leading label manufacturing business, and part of the Caxton/CTP Group, is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead our Cape Town operation. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven manufacturing executive to take responsibility for the strategic direction and overall performance of a well-established business, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, sustainable growth, and profitability.

Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the business. Drive operational performance, productivity, profitability, quality, and customer service excellence. Develop and execute business strategies aligned to the Group's objectives. Lead and mentor a high-performing management team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Oversee all manufacturing, sales, commercial, supply chain, finance, and support functions. Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, suppliers, and business partners. Identify growth opportunities and drive business development initiatives. Manage financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure, and cost optimisation. Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental, health and safety, and quality requirements. Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing/ Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field (or relevant RPL). A postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) will be advantageous. Minimum of 10 years’ senior management experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience in the label printing, packaging, printing, converting, or FMCG manufacturing industry is highly advantageous. Strong commercial and financial acumen with responsibility for budgets and profitability. Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams. Sound knowledge of labour legislation, health and safety, and quality management systems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
