Job Description: Auto Pedigree seeks an experienced Manager: Branch in our Umgeni location. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a leader with strong business knowledge and operations management skills to drive branch performance goals and support Auto Pedigree's market presence.
Position Overview: The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the branch achieves maximum gross profit, unit sales, Rand sales, and second gross targets.
Minimum Requirements: - At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a managerial capacity - Grade 12 NCA qualification - Must be computer literate - Knowledge of compliance in the retail industry is advantageous - Ability to foster professional collaboration, team building, consensus building, and conflict resolution - Knowledge of the local spoken languages is a plus
Job Outputs: - Maximize branch gross profit and ensure unit sales, Rand sales, and second gross targets are met. - Collaborate closely with the F&I Manager to adhere to all financial and insurance requirements. - Manage stock and assets efficiently. - Communicate procedural requirements to branch personnel and ensure their implementation. - Regularly communicate month-end results, local marketing activities, business opportunities, and weaknesses to staff. - Ensure compliance with F&I administrative functions and carry out necessary reports in a timely manner. - Meet with staff at least monthly to discuss performance, local marketing activities, business opportunities, and ways to address weaknesses. - Ensure all F&I administrative functions and compliance are efficiently carried out by branch personnel. - Train branch staff on internal courses as well as on-the-job training to maximize efficiency and productivity. - Carry out performance appraisals as required.
