Bilnor Staffing Solutions' Client in the Mining Sector is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Brits North West.
**South African Citizens and those living in the area will be preferred**
Minimum Requirements:
BSc/BEng/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent recognised qualification. GCC Mines & Works (Mechanical) – essential. Proven experience in mining machinery, mechanical maintenance and engineering management. Winder experience – hands-on experience with mine winding systems is essential. Strong knowledge of shaft and winding plant operations, maintenance and statutory compliance. Minimum 5 years’ relevant mechanical engineering experience within the mining industry. Sound knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) and applicable mining regulations. Proven experience managing engineering maintenance, projects, shutdowns and technical teams. Strong understanding of asset reliability, preventative maintenance and engineering risk management. Strong leadership, communication, planning and problem-solving skills. Valid driver’s licence.
