We are seeking a skilled Professional Accountant to join our prestigious financial services organization. This role is within the FSP Department and involves managing various accounting, tax, and supervisory functions for an extensive client base, ranging from small enterprises to individuals.
Key Responsibilities: - Compile and conduct independent reviews of financial statements - Examine and evaluate financial statements and working files prepared by junior staff - Oversee junior clerks, providing guidance, feedback, and assistance with tasks and assignments - Prepare income tax computations, tax returns, and tax planning for corporations, groups, trusts, and individuals - Ensure timely completion of monthly billing and achievement of monthly targets - Maintain accurate timesheets on a daily basis - Address client inquiries and issues in a timely manner
We are in search of a candidate with the following qualifications: - Proven experience in compiling and reviewing financial statements across various entity types - Strong proficiency in income tax computations, tax returns, and tax planning for corporations, trusts, and individuals - Supervisory or team-leading experience, with the ability to mentor and support junior staff - Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to communicate confidently with clients, auditors, and partners - Outstanding time management skills and the ability to meet monthly billing and reporting targets
