  Our client has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Paarl. Working on sizeable commercial construction projects, the successful candidate will contribute to cost planning, project profitability and effective contract administration within a well-established construction environment.   Requirements: ·        Degree or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying. ·        Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the building construction sector. ·        Must have 5-8 years of experience. ·        Experience on commercial building projects. ·        Proficiency in CCS construction software will be advantageous. ·        Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills. ·        Ability to work effectively in a collaborative office environment.   Responsibilities: ·        Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation. ·        Manage project costs throughout the construction lifecycle. ·        Prepare valuations, payment certificates and final accounts. ·        Monitor project expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities. ·        Liaise with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and clients. ·        Ensure accurate measurement and cost reporting using CCS software. ·        Assist with contractual administration and commercial reporting.   Should you meet the minimum requirements for this position, please email your updated CV attached to [Email hidden - Login to reveal] , alternatively contact the team on XXX-XXXX or visit our website, www.tumaini.co     Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
