We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sessional Professional Nurse General to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care while upholding the highest standards of professional and ethical practice.

**Requirements:**

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A Senior Certificate/Grade 12 qualification is mandatory, along with a Basic R425 or R171 qualification (Degree/Diploma in General Nursing) that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council as a professional nurse. You must also provide proof of your current registration with the SANC. - A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in nursing is required, acquired after registering with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.

As a Sessional Professional Nurse General, your primary duties will include:

• Providing holistic and patient-centered nursing care that meets the highest standards of quality and safety, while adhering to the scope of practice of nurses and the legal framework governing our profession. - Maintaining a professional and ethical practice, as well as creating an enabling environment that fosters ethical decision-making. You will also cultivate constructive working relationships with nursing colleagues and other stakeholders. - Participating in management and utilizing physical, financial, and human resources to fulfill operational and developmental functions in accordance with relevant legislation and policies. - Engaging in research, training staff and students, personal development, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to enhance your skills and knowledge. You will also ensure compliance with the Six Ministerial Priorities.
