Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is seeking a dedicated Cosmetic Frontshop Assistant for their Thavhani Mall store. The successful candidate will uphold merchandising standards while providing exceptional customer service at the point of sale, adhering to Dis-Chem's policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements: - Matric certificate (Grade 12) - Minimum of 0-6 months of retail experience - At least 1 year of experience within the retail environment, specifically in cosmetics - Retail or related certification - Proficiency in computer literacy, specifically MS Office
Key Responsibilities: - Ensure that all product ranges are always displayed on shelves and presented attractively - Maintain stock levels on shelves, checking they have not reached their sell by dates - Restock merchandise when necessary to maximize sales - Handle accurate cash flow and transactions, including various payment methods except those specifically excluded by Dis-Chem - Exchange merchandise for customers and accept returns when authorized to do so - Process all purchases, receive payments, and handle all transactions securely - Restock stock or items pulled from the storeroom immediately and store them correctly - Adhere to cash placement and verification procedures as per Dis-Chem's standard operating protocols - Respond to out-of-stock queries from customers by following up with the customer service out-of-stock list - Verify all payments according to Dis-Chem verification procedures - Follow Dis-Chem's security policies and procedures diligently - Restrict the use of your code and password to yourself, changing it regularly - Scan and pay for all outgoing stock/items - Adhere to Dis-Chem's policies and standard operating procedures - Observe all Health and Safety rules and regulations
