Our client, a prominent and forward-thinking FMCG manufacturing company located in Paarl, is seeking an experienced Supervisor for Creditors/Accounts Payable to join their dynamic and growing team. We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in foreign exchange transactions and leadership/supervision skills in the Accounts Payable department within manufacturing, engineering, or similar industries.

KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION

• You will have completed Matric (a tertiary qualification is advantageous) and possess 10+ years of experience in local and foreign exchange accounts payable. Experience in supervising 2-3 creditors/accounts payable clerks is required.

• Demonstrated expertise in processing imported goods, including relevant shipping costs, and preparing 30-day accounts for payment, managing COD payment orders, and liaising with procurement and store departments regarding stock and received invoices for payment.

• Proficient in Excel and familiar with working on ERP systems such as SAP or Syspro.

• Experience in assisting with year-end audits and timely, accurate completion of month-end processes is essential.

• A valid driver’s license, ownership of a car, and a clean criminal and credit record are mandatory.
