Description: Hire Resolve's client is actively seeking a seasoned Senior Cost Control Professional to join their mining enterprise located in Gauteng. The successful candidate will oversee capital project expenditures, bolster cost control measures, manage budgets and forecasts, handle cost reconciliations, and guarantee precise project cost reporting.

Responsibilities: - Track capital expenditures against established budgets, project plans, and financial controls. - Enhance the cost control framework via robust governance, updated policies, and uniform implementation of approved controls. - Create and maintain cost procedures, reporting systems, workflows, cost codes, control accounts, work breakdown structures, and integrated codes of accounts. - Manage budgets, actual costs, commitments, accruals, cash flow, contingency usage, and budget adjustments within the approved project parameters. - Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual capital cost reports and forecasts within set timeframes. - Supervise monthly reconciliations of systems, finance, and capital accounting to ensure complete, accurate, and reliable project cost information. - Reconcile procurement commitments, purchase orders, contract values, and approved variations against project cost reports.

Requirements: - Grade 12 - Degree in Cost and Management Accounting, Finance, Accounting or equivalent - Relevant professional certification in cost control, finance, accounting, or project management (AACE, CIMA, ACCA, PMP) - Minimum 8 years’ experience in capital-project cost control within a multi-project or portfolio environment - Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role - Experience in project setup, budgeting, forecasting, and capital accounting reconciliation - Valid Driver's License
