Our client, located in Somerset West, Cape Town, is looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join their team on a permanent basis. Candidates should possess 3–5 years of forklift driving experience, a Matric qualification, and a valid forklift license. A high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail are required, particularly for those with prior experience in manufacturing and production settings.

Requirements - 3–5 years’ experience operating a forklift - Matric qualification - Valid forklift license - High level of accuracy and attention to detail - Experience in a manufacturing environment - Experience working in a production environment

Duties - Safely operate forklift in accordance with company policies and safety regulations - Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and storage areas - Transport raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production facility - Assist with receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock - Pick and prepare orders for dispatch accurately and on time - Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements - Ensure proper stacking and storage of goods to prevent damage or loss - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Adhere to health and safety standards at all times - Assist with general warehouse duties when required
