A premier precious metals refining and fabrication enterprise is seeking an accomplished FSD Supervisor with expertise in stock management, metal accounting, inventory audits, and the safe storage and dispatch of high-value commodities. This role, based in Germiston, Gauteng, calls for an individual who will supervise the packaging, storage, and distribution of finished products to both domestic and international clients. Key responsibilities include managing SAP transactions, vault operations, compliance, and the performance of FSD team members.

Responsibilities: - Supervise the preparation, packing, storage, and shipment of finished products for both local and international markets. - Oversee stock control, SAP operations, and inventory checks. - Coordinate vault operations and ensure the secure handling and delivery of valuable items. - Ensure compliance with dangerous goods packing and shipping regulations, as well as Civil Aviation Authority guidelines. - Monitor and report on discrepancies in product weights, serial numbers, and stock balances. - Maintain precise stock reports and operational logs. - Train and mentor operators on operational procedures, including forklift and aisle stacker operations. - Lead and supervise FSD team members to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to regulations. - Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards, housekeeping, and statutory regulations. - Report on equipment downtime, quality issues, and maintenance needs promptly. - Maintain high standards of operational management and customer service.

Requirements: - Completed Matric qualification. - A Diploma or Certificate in Logistics or a related field is desirable. - Up to 3 years of experience in a fabrication setting, or at least 2 years in Final Storage and Dispatch. - Experience in stock control, metal balancing, and inventory verification. - Proficiency in SAP. - Knowledge of dangerous goods packing and shipping requirements, as well as civil aviation regulations. - Experience with Isometrix. - Strong skills in operational administration and customer service. - Experience in people supervision and team leadership. - Knowledge of SHEQ principles and practices. - Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills. - Experience in precious metals fabrication, secure warehousing, high-value goods storage and distribution, logistics and dispatch, airfreight, dangerous-goods logistics, manufacturing, or bonded and controlled warehouses is advantageous.
