Your Role... Leading the creation and management of budget and five-year forecasts across the Profit and Loss statement, you will be specifically tasked with the budgeting and forecasting of all expenses and ancillary revenue streams. Your responsibilities will include identifying and assisting with cost-saving initiatives across various expense areas, such as employee costs, marketing, and utilities.

You will act as a business partner for all departments, guiding them on their budgeted spend and revenue, and collaborating on measures to meet EBITDA targets. Your role will also involve preparing ad hoc analyses, models, and expertise on emerging initiatives. You will manage capital investment decisions and allocation, and prepare comprehensive business performance presentations for the Board, Group, Shareholders, and Lenders.

Additionally, you will be responsible for monthly and annual actuals versus budget reports, variance analysis, and commentary for the P&L. You will review and provide commentary on monthly and quarterly Group financial reporting packs. You will approve and assess all significant operational and capital expenditures against the budget.

You will determine and develop relevant reporting for P&L, Capex, and other areas for use by various stakeholders, including Head Office departments, Clubs, and Regions. Close collaboration with Data and IT teams will be required to develop and devise this reporting.

Key finance input for the implementation of new systems will be part of your role. You will lead, manage, and provide guidance and specific input to a team of Strategic Analysts and a Data Reporting specialist, ensuring efficient and effective operation. Coaching, development opportunities, and feedback will be provided to ensure professional growth.
