Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited seeks a proficient Health Consultant specializing in Vitamins and Supplements for their Hemmingways store in the Eastern Cape Region. The consultant will be tasked with effectively promoting and selling Dis-Chem Health Focus products through consistent customer service.
Essential Qualifications and Experience: 1. Matric or equivalent 2. Minimum 6 months' sales experience in a Vitamins/Health environment 3. Strong command of the English language 4. Computer literate with MS Office proficiency 5. Sound numerical skills 6. Willingness to work retail hours 7. Advantageous: BSc Biomedicine, BSc Biotechnology, or a relevant qualification within the health focus field 8. Sales experience in a retail environment 9. Experience in the health industry (vitamins, supplements, or health foods) 10. Fluency in a second language spoken prominently in the area
Core Responsibilities: - Assist and advise customers, ensuring the highest levels of customer care and service - Participate in back shopping as required to maintain effective department and store operations - Report any price discrepancies to management as they occur - Adhere to store layouts within the Health Department - Ensure broadsheet items are well displayed, merchandised, promoted, and available - Implement promotional displays and merchandising materials - Achieve monthly team, brand, and vendor targets - Stay informed about new products and product lines - Follow Health Departmentās administrative processes and procedures, such as weekly returns, stock control, and monitoring of stock levels
