Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is seeking a skilled Health Merchandiser for their Thavhani Mall store. This permanent position involves maintaining Dis-Chem's basic merchandising standards, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring a high level of stock management.

Minimum Requirements: - Grade 12 / Matric qualification - Up to 6 months' retail experience - Proficiency in MS Office - Willingness to work retail hours

Advantageous Qualifications: - Diploma or degree in a Health Focus category - At least 1 year of retail experience

Job Specification: - Restock merchandise according to business requirements - Proper storage and packaging of stock in the correct space - Ensure full range of products are on shelves at all times - Regularly rotate stock using First In First Out method - Assist with general stocktaking - Present front shop shelves neatly, with correct labels and pricing - Build, face up, stock, and maintain merchandising displays - Maintain daily physical upkeep of store and merchandise displays - Assist with back shopping - Resolve customer stock queries

Competencies: - Essential: Command of the English language, presentable demeanor, effective customer engagement, trustworthiness, and honesty, time management - Advantageous: Bilingual skills, knowledge of merchandising standards and FMCG industry, product and category knowledge, ability to analyze ZMORE reports for ordering and stock taking, report bad/suspicious behavior, SAP and Unisolv proficiency

Special Conditions of Employment: - Willing and physically fit to lift and move heavy boxes, adhere to health and safety standards - Reliable transport or reside in close proximity to the store - South African citizen with a clear credit and criminal record
