An established leader in the industrial weighing equipment sector is on the lookout for a dedicated and energetic Logistics and Operations Manager. This role involves managing the entire supply chain, transportation, and distribution of our industrial weighing equipment, working closely with various departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers.

Responsibilities: - Fleet & Technician Scheduling: Schedule fleet and technicians based on project needs, collaborate with the fleet controller on service and maintenance, update and maintain schedules according to operational requirements, and liaise with the health and safety department to ensure compliance with regulations and technician training. - Department Liaison: Coordinate with different departments on scheduling and projects, manage drivers and allowances, and assist management with client report compilation and presentation. - Efficiency & Cost Optimization: Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs, prepare and analyze logistics reports to identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards. - Technical Expertise: Assist with HR and wage-related queries, work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Possess a strong business acumen and be able to handle tasks outside standard office hours.

Minimum requirements: - A qualification in logistics, business management, or a related field. - At least 5 years of experience in logistics management. - Strong knowledge of transportation and distribution processes. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google platforms, and logistics and tracking software. - Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle tasks outside standard office hours. - A strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. - A strong business acumen. - Possession of a valid passport.
