Our client requires a capable and experienced Foreman to take responsibility for the coordination and supervision of residential construction activities in Johannesburg. This role will suit a hands-on construction professional with strong site leadership skills and a minimum of five years' relevant experience. Responsibilities Manage and supervise daily activities on the construction site. Allocate tasks and coordinate construction teams and subcontractors. Ensure work is completed efficiently and in line with project programmes. Monitor workmanship and ensure required quality standards are maintained. Interpret and work according to construction drawings and specifications. Monitor site productivity and address issues affecting progress. Assist with snagging, inspections and quality-control processes. Promote and enforce safe working practices on site. Monitor materials, equipment and general site requirements. Coordinate with project management and other stakeholders regarding site progress. Report delays, defects, risks and other site-related issues. Maintain effective site administration and reporting. Requirements 5+ years' experience in a Foreman role. Residential construction experience. Strong practical knowledge of construction processes. Experience managing site teams and subcontractors. Sound understanding of construction quality and safety requirements. Good planning and organisational ability. Strong communication and leadership skills.
