**Job Requirements**

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a minimum of a Grade 10 (NQF Level 3) qualification, accompanied by a valid Plant Operator Certificate and a valid driver's license with Code EC. Holding an Occupational Health and Safety certificate for the equipment to be operated is highly desirable and will be viewed as a valuable asset.

**Job Responsibilities**

In this role, the Road Operator will be responsible for:

• Safely operating specialized equipment, including loading and offloading goods and equipment, performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks, and reporting any defects or malfunctions. * Maintaining accurate and detailed log sheets for vehicles and machinery, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. * Implementing safety and precaution measures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. * Performing routine cleaning and lubrication tasks for machinery and equipment. * Ensuring the grading of gravel roads and re-graveling/shoulder maintenance are carried out efficiently and effectively.
