We are seeking a skilled and experienced Road Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating specialized equipment, ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our vehicles and machinery, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of our operations.
**Requirements:**
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Grade 10 (NQF Level 3) qualification, along with a valid plant operator certificate and a valid driver's license Code EC. While not mandatory, holding an Occupational Health and Safety certificate for the equipment to be operated is highly advantageous.

- Operating specialized equipment to ensure efficient and safe completion of tasks * Loading and offloading goods and equipment, while adhering to safety protocols * Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of equipment, with prompt reporting of any defects or issues * Maintaining accurate log sheets for vehicles and machinery, and ensuring the application of safety and precaution measures at all times * Performing routine cleaning and lubrication of machinery and equipment * Grading gravel roads and re-gravelling or maintaining shoulders as required.
