Description
The primary objective of this role
is to oversee and manage intricate SITA internal and external projects utilizing the established SITA project management methodology across designated service, product, or customer portfolios.
Key Responsibility Area
Utilizes project management principles to initiate and plan the project effectively. Oversees product delivery to guarantee the successful completion of the project. Monitors and controls project activities to ensure the project objectives are met within the stipulated budget, scope, timeline, and quality standards as per the plan. Consolidates, monitors, and controls project costs and revenues to ensure adherence to budget and profitability guidelines. Monitors and controls project risks and issues. Closes the project in accordance with company policy.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum: A 3-year National Diploma / Degree in a relevant field, equivalent to NQF level 6. Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Prince 2 Practitioner and/or Agile PM Practitioner/Foundation is advantageous. Experience: A minimum of 7-8 years of professional experience, including: 4 years of project management experience in handling complex projects. 4 years in the public or private sector IT environment.
