Job Description: E&D Recruiters is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager for client projects in Somerset-West, Cape Town. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, Manufacturing Management, or a similar field. A mandatory certification in Professional Project Management (such as PMP®, PRINCE2 Practitioner, IPMA, or equivalent) is essential. Advanced degrees in Project Management are considered a plus.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in project, program, contract, or delivery management within complex manufacturing, engineering, defense, aerospace, or industrial contexts is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate a history of successfully managing large, intricate customer projects, employing effective risk management, problem-solving, recovery planning, and execution within rigorous operational and contractual frameworks.

The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in leading, managing, mentoring, and developing project management teams in a customer-focused delivery environment. Direct experience in engaging with customers and managing strategic customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle, including contract execution, delivery planning, schedule negotiations, progress reviews, issue resolution, and executive-level stakeholder engagement is required.

Additionally, candidates should have demonstrated ability in coordinating and integrating activities across Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Product Development, Finance, and Sales functions.
