Position Overview Reporting to the Branch Manager/Operations Manager, this vacancy is available at our East London Branch. The primary objective of the role is to support the Operations Manager within the Cash in Transit division and ensure CIT operations are executed in line with planned procedures and schedules.

Minimum Requirements Candidates must possess a clear criminal record, a PSIRA-accredited qualification with a minimum Grade C, a Cash In Transit (CIT) certificate, and firearm competency with a minimum handgun qualification. The applicant should also be computer literate, possess at least 3 years' experience in the security industry or a similar role, hold a valid driver's license, and have own transportation. They should be able to work under pressure, adapt to irregular hours, maintain a clear disciplinary record, and demonstrate risk management and compliance skills.

Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include taking full responsibility and accountability for the vehicle, reporting mechanical faults, refuelling, operating security systems, and ensuring vehicle cleanliness. The candidate will assist with daily operational requirements, manage CIT schedules during transit, and prevent and report accidents. They will also liaise with clients and staff, complete documentation and administration, report delays to the Operations Manager, and uphold risk management and compliance. The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service and relations, quality assurance, planning and organizing skills, and alertness.

Personality Attributes The ideal candidate must be honest, reliable, and possess good verbal and language abilities. They must be assertive and have excellent planning and organizing skills.
