MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: Manage all services executed within the designated area, handle client inquiries, and oversee the performance of service technicians.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: Graduation or equivalent qualificationMinimum of 3 years in management rolesCustomer service experience and people management experience are advantageous
JOB REQUIREMENTS & OTHER ATTRIBUTES
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Listener, Outlook, and the internet - Knowledge of Listener is a plus - PSIRA Registered (Grade B) - Possession of a valid driver's license - Familiarity with SAIDSA requirements
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
TECHNICAL TARGETS EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) PEOPLE MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATION
DUTIES
- Plan and manage service callouts 2. Liaise with clients regarding technical and account-related queries 3. Achieve Field Force Transformation (FFT) targets 4. Ensure accurate stock control and counts within technical vehicles and during inspections 5. Conduct Health and Safety (HSE) inspections for ladders, electrical equipment, PPE, and vehicle checks 6. Organize HSE meetings and toolbox talks with installations staff 7. Identify training and development needs among staff and provide guidance accordingly 8. Complete all necessary paperwork for the successful recruitment of terminated staff or new positions 9. Demonstrate people management skills, including HR-related issues and staff development 10. Collaborate with staff to address queries and concerns 11. Ensure staff wellbeing is maintained 12. Complete reports on figures and targets, late service calls, fuel consumption and kilometers, red/green flags, and SMS tests 13. Check and distribute fines to installations staff and obtain signed authorizations 14. Verify individual installers' cellphone bills and obtain signed authorizations 15. Review installer drive sheets, including arrival and departure times at sites 16. Receive and respond to Listener notes, providing feedback as needed 17. Address emails from internal departments and provide feedback
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
- Meet weekly service targets - Ensure first-time resolution of client queries and accurate payment for service calls - Achieve FFT targets as outlined in the budget for the branch - Minimize stock loss to under 1% - Report incidents to HR within 24 hours of occurrence - Conduct monthly inspections and report discrepancies to the Installations Manager/HOD - Schedule monthly toolbox talks and SHE meetings, with minutes submitted to HR Officer ā EHS - Monitor and record staff performance on a regular basis - Provide proper training to staff, in line with completed work - Effectively address and resolve queries - Submit AODs to payroll by the 10th of each month for payroll cut-off - Attend to Listener notes and emails in a timely manner, providing feedback - Accurately record Installers' whereabouts - Complete weekly reports and send them to the Installations Manager
