Job Overview In this role within our claims department, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients seeking assistance with insurance claim inquiries. Your primary goal will be to comprehend, address, and resolve customer issues while strictly adhering to principles of fairness and compliance with FCA guidelines. Job Responsibilities Your duties will include ensuring that the customer's needs are prioritized and that exceptional customer service is delivered at all times. You must have a proven track record of handling both inbound and outbound calls and managing cases from initiation to completion. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are crucial to ensure that customer complaints are resolved promptly and satisfactorily. You will be responsible for lodging claims, updating records, and making necessary adjustments or cancellations.

Job Requirements To qualify for this position, you must have a National Senior Certificate, a clear credit and criminal record, and at least 1-2 years of experience in the insurance claims sector, preferably international. You should also have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal, as well as demonstrate attention to detail and possess excellent analytical and numeric skills.

Required Skills You must be able to assist customers with their insurance claims, handle customer inquiries via email and telephone, proactively identify potential issues, assist with escalated calls and complaints in line with company procedures, provide world-class customer service to international clients, and collaborate with various departments to resolve issues.

Preferred Skills While not mandatory, having a recognized qualification such as RE 5FAIS would be advantageous.
