Raizcorp is on the lookout for an experienced and versatile business professional who possesses exceptional commercial insight to serve as a business mentor. Your role will involve guiding a diverse group of entrepreneurs in various facets of their business operations, including strategy, sales, marketing, finance, and their personal development. This position is a full-time, salaried role, rather than a consulting contract. Your focus will be on empowering entrepreneurs to enhance their own skills and capabilities through a well-structured methodology and continuous support, rather than undertaking their tasks for them.

While prior coaching experience is not mandatory, Raizcorp will provide the necessary training. What we require is your deep business knowledge, a compassionate approach to entrepreneurs, and a true commitment to making a significant impact.

Responsibilities

Conduct individual coaching sessions, run business simulations, and lead group workshops based on a proven program that enhances skills, builds capabilities, and boosts business outcomes. Manage a defined group of entrepreneurs, monitoring their progress in terms of revenue, profitability, and personal growth over time. Integrate insights from multiple disciplines (strategy, sales, marketing, finance, human resources) to assist entrepreneurs in making comprehensive, forward-thinking decisions. Stay informed about economic trends and regulatory changes that impact entrepreneurs and incorporate these insights into your coaching sessions. Collaborate effectively with other mentors in both team settings and one-on-one interactions.

Qualifications

A seasoned professional with 10 to 15+ years of experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments, ideally with ownership of your own businesses (mandatory requirement). Proficient in business strategy, sales, marketing, and finance, capable of drawing connections and coaching on trade-offs. High emotional intelligence with a genuine understanding of the highs and lows of the entrepreneurial journey; mature, accountable, and non-judgmental. An organized, systematic, proactive, and deadline-driven communicator. Tech-savvy and proficient with Microsoft 365/Office and learner management systems. A tertiary qualification in commerce (MBA or master’s-level degree is advantageous). Driver’s license and personal vehicle are essential.
