**Job Description:**
- Replenish merchandise to optimize sales - Timely storage and organization of delivered or pulled stock from the storeroom - Ensure stock on shelves does not expire - Maintain a full range of products on shelves - Regularly rotate stock using FIFO method - Report low stock, out-of-stock, damaged, and expired items to management - Assist with stock counts and general stocktaking - Adhere to Dis-Chem's operating standards and store layout - Flatten boxes after unpacking and place them in the designated area - Present front shop shelves neatly with accurate labels and pricing - Report any price discrepancies to management - Stay informed about current and new products - Build, face, stock, and maintain merchandising displays - Perform daily maintenance of store and merchandise displays; manage stock in storeroom and shop floor - Assist with loading and unloading of stock - Clearly mark items without barcodes - Engage in back shopping - Train new staff members - Offer friendly, helpful, and courteous assistance to customers - Follow up on all customer out-of-stock queries - Resolve all customer stock queries - Wear the correct uniform and badge at all times - Minimize losses by handling merchandise carefully - Follow Dis-Chem policies, SOPs, and health and safety regulations
**Competencies:**
- Essential: Strong command of the English language - Presentable demeanor - Effective engagement with customers, management, and staff - Trustworthy and honest - Good time management

- Bilingual skills - Knowledge of merchandising standards and the FMCG industry - Product and category knowledge - Ability to analyze ZMORE reports for ordering and stocktaking - Report any suspicious or bad behavior from staff or customers
